Join Lead Love as a participant in our 3-day Hands-On HubSpot Intensive. In this course, you will receive expert-led training with interactive exercises and one-on-one support to learn practical HubSpot skills.

What to Expect

This is a virtual (Zoom) training. We will meet weekly on three consecutive Fridays

Upcoming dates:

  • August 6th, 13th, and 20th: 8am – 2pm PST

We will cover each concept in depth while demoing via screenshare. After each demo, you will have time allocated to perform exercises to make it stick (note: you’ll use your current company’s portal for the exercises, which means you’re getting work done while you’re in training – win win!)

Participants are encouraged to virtually raise their hands to ask questions the entire time. This is a small-group, interactive experience. We will monitor the chat box, and address any unanswered questions at the end of each day.

Course Outcomes

As long as you complete the exercises and stay engaged, you will head back to work with significant automation built out for your company.

In addition to that, you’ll have confidence and plenty of inspiration for helping your team increase inbound revenue using HubSpot. If you aren’t already, you’ll be your team’s go-to for HubSpot operations.

Day-1

MORNING:

  • HubSpot overview & navigation basics
  • Understand the HubSpot’s databases
  • Create and manage users and teams
  • Company configuration & global settings
  • Connect your domains and set up proper website tracking
  • Fool-proof imports
    • Keep your data clean
    • Immediately identify and resolve errors
  • Build different types of lists & know when to use them
    • Active, static, inclusion, exclusion, and more
  • Lead capture forms, including hidden and dependent fields

AFTERNOON:

  • Set up and manage the fundamental sales tools
    • Connect calendars and inboxes
    • Log and track emails
    • Create custom (and team) meetings links
    • Create sales email templates that convert
  • Deal pipeline ins-and-outs
  • Workflow and sequences use cases: when to use one vs. the other
  • Best practices for sequences
  • Build sequences, enroll, and unenroll contacts

Day-2

MORNING:

  • Prepare to send marketing emails, flawlessly
    • Email marketing best practices: create targeted segments, cadences, and understand privacy laws
    • Know the types of marketing emails
    • Build emails: drag and drop, custom coded (design manager), and hybrid options. Note: we can’t teach you to write HTML in an afternoon. We can, however, teach you how to ask for and oversee custom-coded template development)
    • Processes to Q/A your marketing emails before they go out
    • Scheduling sends
    • A/B testing
    • Smart modules

AFTERNOON:

  • Configuring Custom Properties
  • Working with Custom Properties
  • Data Management Fundamentals
  • Using the campaigns tool
  • Learn how to create landing pages and thank you pages
  • Smart content (CTA’s, email and landing page smart modules)

Day-3

MORNING

  • Best practices for workflows
  • Hands-on demos – build 3 workflows: lead routing, drip campaign, deal pipeline automation
    • These are very common, and very different types of workflows. You’ll get a broad understanding of the tools available to you.
  • Known quirks and their resolutions
    • Forms with more than one layer of dependent fields
    • Limited social media analytics for contact records
    • Limited sequences reporting
    • Salesforce integration troubleshooting

AFTERNOON

  • Reporting
    • Standard reports
    • Building custom reports
    • Advanced reporting intro
    • Creating useful dashboards
  • Get familiar with common native integrations (Salesforce, Eventbrite, Zoom, etc)
  • What you need to know about custom API integrations

Course Requirements

  • Access to a HubSpot training environment or live portal (Marketing & Sales Professional or Enterprise)
  • A desire to learn and take your skills to the next level
